Optimum press and UV system operation relies heavily on proper maintenance. UVT has developed a maintenance kit to help keep your press and UV system operating at peak performance. Each item in the maintenance kit is available for individual purchase.
Each kit includes:
• UVT Gold—an environmentally safe and universally accepted cleaner for cylinder and anilox rolls. UVT Gold has been formulated to dissolve and disperse UV solvent and water-based dry ink quickly. Available in 1 and 5 gallon jugs. Also available in 30 and 35 gallon drums. (Each kit includes 1 gallon jug)
• UVT Detex—an inexpensive, easy to use method of measuring UV strength. This helps operators detect equipment problems at an early stage, thus avoiding lengthy downtime. Available in 1 and 5 packs of 42 strips. (Each kit includes 1 pack)
• UV Brite—an easy to use reflector cleaner. UV Brite removes deposits that prevent the uniform delivery of UV light to the product. This helps maintain peak reflectance and ensures longer reflector life. Available in 2 or 12 packs of 5 oz. cans. (Each kit includes 2 cans)
